Painters in High River.
Forty minutes south of Calgary, with a rebuilt core and a housing stock that includes a lot of post-2013 finishing work worth doing properly the second time.

Do you paint homes in High River?
Rebuild-era interiors
A great deal of High River housing was refinished quickly after the 2013 flood. Fast work under pressure often means thin builder-grade coatings and drywall repairs that were taped but never properly feathered — both of which show up years later as flashing patches and scuffed walls that cannot be wiped clean.
Redoing that properly is straightforward: repair and re-feather the patches, spot-prime so the sheen does not flash, then two coats of a washable finish.
- Drywall repair, patch feathering and spot priming
- Full interior repaints in washable finishes
- Exterior siding and trim on older town-core homes
- Fence and deck staining
Exteriors on the open prairie
High River is exposed and the wind is constant. Same rules as the rest of the region: wash off chalking, scrape what has let go, prime bare substrate, caulk properly, then coat with a flexible exterior acrylic that can move with the wall through chinook cycling.
Travel is folded into the quote up front instead of appearing as a line item later.

High River painting questions
Is High River too far for you?
No. It is about 40 minutes south of Calgary and inside our normal radius. Travel is folded into the quote rather than added later.
Can you fix drywall damage before painting?
Yes — repair, feather, sand and spot-prime is part of a proper interior job. Larger repairs from settling or old flood damage get quoted as their own line so you can see what you are paying for.
Why do my touch-ups look shinier than the wall?
That is flashing: the patch absorbed differently to the surrounding paint. Spot-priming the repair before the finish coat prevents it, which is why we do it as standard.
